Ritu Anand (She/Her)
LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Bio

Over the past 10 years, Ritu has worked with diverse populations in a variety of settings. She has specialized training and experience in facilitating DBT skills training to high risk populations, crisis de-escalation and intervention, and symptom management. Ritu blends CBT, DBT, education, goal setting, skills training and mindfulness based approaches to provide her clients tools for improving relationships, reducing stress, changing patterns, facilitating healing, and improving overall health, wellness, and joy.

Ritu helps adult women who are feeling depressed and anxious learn how to manage difficult feelings, find ways to reduce stress, and build healthier relationships. In addition, she helps young South Asian women explore their identity and build self-confidence. It is her goal to provide compassionate and culturally competent services using an integrative approach which tailors the therapeutic process to the needs of the individual.

Ritu is passionate about increasing access to high quality mental health care, improving the safety of our communities, and advocating for racial and economic justice as a way to promote mental wellness on both an individual and collective level. She is continuing to learn about the use of creative arts interventions, how to help survivors of trauma manage symptoms, codependency recovery, and continued cultural competency training and dialogue surrounding anti-racism efforts and supporting the LGBTQ plus community in the therapy room and beyond.
