Megan Wetherbee is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in Alabama
with 20 years of professional experience that includes social work practice as well as sales and
outreach. Megan has both a bachelor and masters degree in social work from the University of
Alabama. She has worked in a variety of settings, but most frequently in healthcare & hospital
environments. She is currently licensed to practice in Alabama and Mississippi.

Megan uses a person-centered, eclectic approach leaning most heavily on Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy. She will also help clients examine how inner thoughts and beliefs inform their outer
reality. She believes in the power of deep listening and bearing witness to others' pain. She
strives to make each client feel seen, heard and validated by creating a warm, non judgemental
space. Megan also has experience in working through grief, cancer survivorship and narcissistic
abuse.
