Katy brings over 12 years of diverse healthcare experience to her role, holding dual licensure as a licensed professional counselor and registered nurse. After earning her Master’s in Clinical Psychology, she worked closely with medical teams as an inpatient drug and alcohol therapist — an experience that revealed the critical gap between physical and mental health care. Inspired to bridge that gap, she returned to school to earn her BSN and RN.

Katy has worked with a wide range of populations, including children with autism, women recovering from trafficking, and patients enrolled in oncology clinical trials. She’s passionate about health equity, suicide prevention, and innovative digital health solutions. Outside of work, Katy enjoys traveling the world with her wife — from riding elephants in South Africa to exploring villages in Sri Lanka.
