Bio

Jayna is thankful to be a part of the LBee Health team, trying to make affirming, accessible, and affordable care a reality for more individuals.  She is a licensed occupational therapist in California, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Texas, and Washington, with licensings previously in Nebraska and Alaska. Jayna has advanced training in trauma informed care, sensory integration and processing, and neurodivergent needs.  She received her doctorate in occupational therapy from Creighton University and her PhD in Educational Leadership from Drake University.

Jayna has experience working with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings across the country.  She has been working in telehealth since 2016 and has worked on legislative efforts to bring the occupational therapy compact to life.  Jayna is most looking forward to building services which support marginalized populations in better understanding themselves and their unique needs, as well as how to be strong self-advocates.
