Elizabeth Eccleston (She/Her)
Group Leader

Bio

Elizabeth Eccleston is thrilled to join the LBee Health team as a Group Facilitator for peer coaching and support groups.

Her career spans the non-profit, for-profit, and government sectors, where she has successfully navigated complex workplace dynamics and brought a strong equity lens to her work. Elizabeth is deeply committed to social justice and addressing systemic inequality—values that were shaped through her MSW training and hands-on experience as a case manager for unhoused young adults and as a domestic violence counselor.

A dedicated advocate for trans rights, Elizabeth has served as a clinical advisor and educator for Trans Folx Fighting Eating Disorders (TFFED, now FEDUP), and as a lead childcare volunteer for Transforming Family, a support organization for parents of gender-diverse children. She also spent over a decade in the education technology sector, supporting students, faculty, and administrators in higher education. Her work focused on scaling initiatives for online learners, including academic coaching, clinical training, and accessibility services.

Elizabeth was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, shortly after her daughter was identified as autistic. This personal journey, sparked in part by relatable insights on neurodivergence in AFAB individuals, led to a ripple effect in her personal community, with many others recognizing their own neurodivergence. Her relationships with autistic adults helped her move beyond outdated clinical frameworks and prioritize lived experience when supporting her child.

Having personally experienced, and recovered from, workplace burnout, Elizabeth became the founding Global Education Chair of her organization’s Ability Resource Network, supporting employees with disabilities, neurodivergence, and mental health challenges. She also spoke at PowerToFly’s Diversity Reboot Summit, in the session Invisible Disabilities, Neurodiversity, and How to Reduce Stigma Through Leaders Sharing Their Own Journeys.

Elizabeth believes that:

  1. Everyone is the expert of their own life,

  2. Peer support and shared experience can be transformative, and

  3. Helping others can empower us to take charge of our own lives.

She is passionate about building micro-communities and creating spaces where people can support one another in meaningful, authentic ways.
