Beth Logan (She/Her/Hers)
LPCC, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Bio
Beth Logan has been working in mental health in various inpatient and outpatient settings since 2009. She has spent the majority of her career working with adults and adolescents who are in crisis, experiencing severe symptoms of mental health and addiction problems. Beth is a Masters-level licensed professional clinical counselor based in Ohio who specializes in solution-focused brief therapy, compassion-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and has specialized training and certification in CBT for insomnia, trauma-focused CBT, and for the management of suicidal thoughts.
She is a firm believer that the heavy lifting of therapy that happens when digging into the source of distress cannot begin without first having the tools to 'dig' effectively. Coping skills are the tools we use to help manage the muck we unearth while in session, and to do counseling without learning healthy coping mechanisms is the same as telling you to dig without a shovel.
Throughout her career, Beth has worked with marginalized populations, particularly people who are disabled, a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, immigrants, and people who have had involvement with the legal system.
