Dr. Aaron Banas (He/Him)
PsyD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Aaron Banas is a Clinical Psychologist and Navy veteran. He served as a Navy hospital corpsman during the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. After his first term of service, he went on to coordinate therapeutic outdoor retreats for combat veterans, which prompted him to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology. He obtained his doctorate through the George Washington University’s Professional Psychology Program and subsequently commissioned as an Active Duty Navy psychologist, retiring in 2023.

 

In addition to conducting evaluations with LBee Health, he serves as the Deputy Director at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Easterseals and teaches at George Mason University’s Doctoral Psychology Program.

 

During his downtime, Dr. Banas enjoys spending time with his spouse Kristen, a fellow psychologist, and sons Jaxson (age 7) and Hudson (age 3).
